Our global life sciences client aimed to secure strong adoption of the second phase of its SAP S/4HANA transformation across 26 countries. The initial phase had struggled due to limited engagement and a dispersed change network that left employees unsure about the purpose of the transformation and their responsibilities within it. This lack of clarity made it challenging to encourage the right behaviors and build alignment across the enterprise. The client set out to establish a network of change ambassadors who could help employees understand the broader objectives. These ambassadors brought a wide mix of skills and priorities, which created uneven communication and inconsistent levels of readiness.

Afiniti was engaged to develop a clear, compelling story that explained why SAP S/4HANA mattered and how the shift would influence individuals, teams, and the organization as a whole. To address the range of backgrounds, schedules, and expertise across the ambassador group, we created an interactive onboarding experience that used gamification in change management. This format enabled ambassadors to explore the transformation in a dynamic, memorable way; deepen their understanding; and build a sense of ownership in the program.

  • We produced voiceover and visual content that communicated the core purpose of the program, simplifying complex concepts so stakeholders could relate easily to the upcoming transition to SAP S/4HANA.
  • We crafted a step-by-step process map to support a mega-process in indirect procurement, giving employees a structured view of what would soon change.
  • We launched a dedicated SharePoint site to support one of the most affected mega-processes, equipping end users with resources, training materials, and clear FAQs so they could navigate the shift with confidence.
